Spotted: Hearn girls in Paris. Let's see what they've been up to...xoxo, Gossip Girl

So Paris is pretty amazing.
It's obviously one of the bigger cities in Europe, which is usually overwhelming for me.
But Paris was different.  I got a better vibe from Paris than I did London.
I was hoping I would, because that's what everyone else was saying it would be like.

We got off to a rough start though..
Coming out of the train station, we had no idea where to go really.
We had a paper map, no wifi, and a sky above us threatening rain.
All the roads in Paris are diagonal, so it was really difficult figuring out which road you were on and which way to go to stay on it.
We also had a lot of suitcases and a maze of people to walk through.
But eventually, we made it to our hotel.
We were starving at that point, so we went to the most expensive café you could ever imagine, but at least the food was good.
My first meal in Paris was French onion soup...(haha)
At that point it had started to rain so we went to the Galleries Lafayette and it was spectacular!
So many posh shops.
My mom was insistent on wanting a Longchamp bag, because it is a Parisian brand and all.
We STOOD IN LINE to get into the Longchamp store.
It was nothing I've ever experienced.
At that point, we were super tired and just walked around to different stores and down different streets.
We had lunch so late that we didn't even eat dinner!
We just went to a bakery and got macaroons and a loaf of French bread and called it a night.

The next day, we took a bus tour.
We saw all the typical Paris landmarks that are always in pictures. (i.e., Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, the Louvre, and the Arc de Triomphe at the end of the Champs Élysée).
We didn't actually go into the Louvre that day because it was closed, so we saved it for the last day.
We were at the Eiffel for a total of four hours.
It was kind of a bustle, but I won't go into it.
We wrapped up the day on the Champs Élysée, but didn't buy anything.
After a photo shoot with the Arc de Triomphe, we headed on our two mile journey to Chipotle.
I hadn't had it in two months, so I was determined and I think my mom just wanted something American.
We finally made it (thankfully it wasn't closed) and it was a glorious meal.
It was also delightfully close to our hotel, which we gladly made our way to after a long day of seeing the sights.

Our last day in Paris was spent at the Louvre.
We went straight for the Mona Lisa, and boy was it crowded.
But we managed to get a few selfies with her.
We took a break for lunch and decided to go back later since it was open late.
My family isn't really into art history very much, so I don't think I appreciated the Louvre as much as I would have with friends who are actually interested in that kind of thing.
We went back and were so tired that we didn't really stay long, but it was still cool.

The next day we had to catch our flight to Dublin super early, so that was the end of Paris for us!
We wrapped up the trip with dinner in a café and ate the best salads the world has ever seen.

And if you didn't just read my experience in Paris, (that's okay)
